What a truly stunning experience this was... The Kerikeri International Piano Competition in the small country town of Keri Keri in New Zealand's North Island. I was honoured to be one of the fourteen international competitors with 9 countries represented, including Ukrain, Taiwan, USA, Canada and South Korea. The standard was incredibly breathtaking. Whilst I did not make it to the final, it was a privilege to meet and befriend likeminded musicians from around the globe, many of whom were older, mature musicians studying at prestigious conservatories like the Julliard and the Peabody Institute.

Really thankful for my hosts, Frank and Lindsay Weber for making my time in Kerikeri so relaxed and homely.
